Samples are usually early prototypes of some of our set deisgns, or trial stamping for custom design ideas. They are usually stamped onto cutlery with surface flaws that cannot be removed, which is often difficult to photograph. Please be aware of this when purchasing a sale, seconds or sample piece. If you've not ordered a seconds or sample piece from us before, please see the 'What are samples/seconds?' section for more information.

    As with all of our products, the handstamping process will ensure that each piece is absolutely unique and no two forks will ever be the same. The characteristics that define them as original mostly come from the handstamping technique. This means the wording and individual letters may not always be completely straight and will never look exactly the same as the cutlery pictured. In addition to this, the nature of stainless steel will mean that some pieces may have minimal blemishes, although we feel these only further celebrate the individualities of each item and add to the charm that makes your cutlery truly unique to you.
