Our custom design cutlery sets are available in 6 different options:

5 piece set: knife/fork/round spoon/dessert spoon/teaspoon
4 piece set: knife/fork/round spoon OR dessert spoon/teaspoon (please specify in order notes)
3 piece set: knife/fork/round spoon
3 piece set: knife/fork/dessert spoon
3 piece set: knife/fork/teaspoon
2 piece set: knife/fork
 
Due to risk, you must be age 18+ to purchase knives and forks. You will need to specify this at the checkout. If you or your loved one are vulnerable to self harm, please do not purchase our knives or forks. Lana's Basket are not responsible for any injury that may occur from purchasing any of our cutlery sets.

    First and foremost: it is absolutely vital that you provide an email address at the point of purchase, and keep an eye on your inbox and junk box incase we need to contact you about your order. Avoid using work or education email addresses as these can be automatically rejected without notification. Unfortunately if we do not hear from you within 48 hours, we may have to cancel your order.

    The custom text sections only allow 500 characters. If you are not able to fit all of your instructions here, please use the space to let us know and then pop us an email shop@lanasbasket.com

    Knife
    We only stamp the reverse side of the knife as shown in the image. If you'd like a longer message on your knife, we advise selecting our standard font. We also advise against requesting long messages or stamping too near to the edges/serrated part of the blade. This can weaken the piece which can cause the blade to snap. Only the heart or star design stamps are suitable for knives. Punctuation stamps are not suitable for knives.

    Fork
    Please consider the size of the fork head (the prong part!) and font size when choosing what you'd like the piece to say. We are not able to stamp the prongs and any designs of 5+ words may not leave enough room for design stamps (hearts, star, flower).

    Round & dessert spoon
    These are the best pieces for getting super creative! If you'd like something really specific, for example stamping around the edge of the spoon head, please pop us an email and we can have a chat about your design vision. If selecting a 4 piece set, please specify if you would like a round spoon OR dessert spoon in your order notes.

    Teaspoon
    If you'd like a longer message on your teaspoon, we advise selecting our standard font. Our 'don't let your mind bully your body' teaspoon is a great example of the word count we can cater for on your teaspoon. The same design in our Newsprint font would not be suitable for a teaspoon.

    Font styles & design stamps
    We are able to personalised designs using the following stamps:
    - Standard font A - Z uppercase only
    (available in 3 sizes: 2.0mm/2.5mm/3.0mm) [image 4]
    - Standard font numbers 0-9
    (available in 3 sizes: 3 sizes: 2.0mm/2.5mm/3.0mm)

    - Newsprint font A - Z uppercase and lowercase [image 5]
    - Newsprint font numbers 0-9

    - punctuation - $ " ! , ? ) ( @ . # ;
    (approx 3.0mm/not suitable on knives) 
    - heart shape
    (3 sizes: 2.0mm/2.5mm/3.0mm) [image 6]
    - star shape
    (approx 3.0mm) [image 6]
    - flower shape
    (approx 3.0mm/not suitable on knives or handles) [image 6]

    If you would like your design to feature our standard font, but with an emphasis on a certain word/words, please use capitals to indicate where you would like things to stand out. For best results, we recommend (and will use by default unless otherwise instructed) combining our 2mm stamps with the 3mm. You can also ask to have a combination of font styles. If this is something you would like, select either option for your font style and then pop us a message to let us know how you would like your cutlery to look in a little more detail.

    We are not able to stamp words on the handles of any of our custom design pieces. We can however add a single design stamp (heart or star) or single letter stamp on the end of the handle. Please specify this in your order details or by popping us an email shop@lanasbasket.com

    Lastly, it's important that you select the correct word count for your custom design cutlery set. If any 1 piece contains more than 4 words, you must select the '5+ words' option. Selecting the wrong word count may result in your order being cancelled.

    Unless otherwise specified, your custom designs will be stamped and positioned as we feel best.
